Staff training

I offer engaging, practical training for school staff focused on effective dyslexia support in the classroom. Grounded in evidence-based approaches and aligned with guidance from organizations such as the British Dyslexia Association and the International Dyslexia Association, my sessions provide clear strategies that teachers and support staff can implement immediately. Training covers identifying common signs of dyslexia, adapting teaching materials, supporting literacy development, and building inclusive classroom environments where every learner can thrive. Sessions can be tailored to your setting, ensuring relevant, actionable guidance that makes a lasting impact on pupil outcomes.

SENDCo Support

I provide specialist SENDCo support to help schools confidently lead and embed effective whole-school SEND practice. From driving strategic SEND initiatives to strengthening high-quality teaching for all learners, I work alongside leaders to ensure provision is impactful and sustainable. I offer practical guidance on implementing robust assess–plan–do–review cycles, using clear documentation and measurable outcomes to demonstrate progress. I also support SEND staff in navigating the EHCP application process with clarity and confidence, sharing helpful, step-by-step advice to ensure evidence is thorough, child-centred, and aligned with statutory expectations.

Access Arrangements Audits

I offer comprehensive access arrangements audits to help schools feel confident that their processes and paperwork are fully compliant with Joint Council for Qualifications (JCQ) regulations. Through a detailed review of evidence, Form 8 documentation, assessor reports, and centre procedures, I identify strengths, highlight areas for development, and provide clear, practical next steps. My audits are supportive and solution-focused, ensuring your systems are robust, deadlines are met, and staff understand their responsibilities—giving you peace of mind ahead of inspections and exam seasons.
